Photo and Media Release
Plain-language summary
We sometimes take photos and short videos at sessions to share what the program is like — on our website, social media, and local marketing. Checking the photo-release box on the registration form is optional. You can say no, and your child still participates fully. If you say yes, you can change your mind anytime by emailing us. If you say no, our coaches will be told and we will not photograph your child.
If you opt in
- What we may capture: photographs, video, and audio of the participant during program sessions and events.
- Where it may be used: the Wide Receiver 81 website; our Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube channels; flyers, newsletters, slide decks, promotional videos; local press; internal coach training material.
- What we will not do: publish your child's full name with their image without separate permission; publish their address, school, exact age, or contact info; sell media to third parties; use it to advertise unrelated products; use it in a way that disparages your child.
- No payment: neither parent nor participant receives compensation for use.
Right to revoke
You can revoke this permission at any time by emailing info@widereceiver81.com with the subject line “Photo Release Revocation — [Player Name]”. Within 48 hours we stop capturing new media of your child. Within 14 days we remove them from our own channels. Material already shared on third-party platforms (e.g., a re-post on someone else's feed) cannot be guaranteed removal — we will request it but cannot enforce it.
If you opt out
Default is opt-OUT — you must affirmatively check the box during registration to grant permission. If you say no:
- The cohort roster a coach pulls up on their phone shows a clear “NO PHOTO” indicator next to your child's name.
- Before any photo or video is captured at a session, the media-lead coach reviews the no-photo list.
- If your child appears in a group shot, that photo is not used, or your child is cropped or blurred before publication.
